I'm so excited to try out the art supplies that came today. I ordered a box of Rembrandt portrait pastels and a jar of powdered charcoal for good, messy fun. Dick Blick came through for me and delivered them right to my door. :)
Anyone else use these pastels? I'm a little dazzled by the color selection...

Sorry my dA friends if it seems I cut out in the middle of a commentary 'conversation'. I've been sick for weeks and have had untreated asthma that is still kicking my ass. But, I am doing some artwork in my offline time and hope to have something to upload later in the month. Until then, my participation on dA will be limited as RL calls. Get back to you all soon.

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of outdoor sketching, you know, just quick stuff in my sketchbook, nothing polished. I'm working on an oil painting and I'm just trying to figure all that out.
