| I'm returning to drawing after years of not doing it and DA seems to be the perfect place to get warm, respectful feedback that helps me stay focused. In my artwork, I strive for a loose, energetic line that reveals the hand of the maker. I want to get away from the old thought patterns that what I draw must be perfect - perfectly shaded, perfectly complete, cross every T and dot every I. There has to be room for interpretation. So now I'm not striving to acheive photorealism, and look instead toward conveying an artistic impression. That's my goal. To maintain the joy of the process, and not get overly invested in end product. It's supposed to be fun! Thanks for stopping by, M.S. Lynch, Suburban Angst |

Really over the top!

Nothing wrong with doing something strictly for the joy of it - don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just here to have fun. Like my feedback? Put me on your dAwatch & let's make it a 2-way street.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
